City Bus Parking
Racing Games · Updated
City Bus Parking asks a simple question with a complicated answer: can you put a twelve-metre vehicle exactly where it needs to be, without touching anything on the way?
How to play
You drive with WASD or the arrow keys. Routes take you through city streets, out onto winding mountain roads and across bridges, and every trip ends the same way — a designated parking space that has to be entered with the right angle, the right speed and the right amount of patience.
The buses are the point. They are long, they steer slowly, and the rear of the vehicle swings wide through every turn. Where a car game lets you fix a mistake with a quick correction, a bus makes you plan the manoeuvre before you start it: line up early, commit to the turn, and accept that the last metre is going to be a gentle reverse with both mirrors doing the work.
Levels grow into more demanding environments, from tidy city bays to countryside stretches that ask for better speed control, and the environments themselves are part of the appeal — bright 3D roads, bridges and scenery rather than a grey test track.
Parking a bus without losing your temper
- Reverse in. Nose-first only works if the bay is twice as wide as the bus, which it never is.
- Take the wide arc. Use the full width of the road on approach and the turn becomes simple.
- Slow is smooth. A bus at walking pace can still be corrected; a bus at speed cannot.
- Straighten before you stop. Stopping crooked is how you end up shuffling forward and back for a minute.
Who it is for
This suits players who enjoy driving games where the challenge is precision rather than speed: a bus bay, a mountain road, and the satisfaction of a manoeuvre done properly. Keyboard recommended — it is a fine-steering game first.
How to get a high score
- Reverse into the bay. A bus that enters nose-first has nowhere to go when the mirrors are close.
- Use the whole road. Buses need a wider arc than cars, and cutting a turn is how you clip a kerb.
- Brake early and gently. Momentum is the enemy of a precise stop.
- Check which way the front wheels point before you move after a stop — a bus pivots more than you expect.
Questions
What do I actually drive?
City and coach buses on routes through town, mountain roads and bridges, with designated parking areas waiting at the end of each trip.
Is it a full simulator?
No. It is a 3D driving and parking game with realistic-feeling steering, braking and space requirements, rather than a technical bus simulator with checklists and timetables.
Does it work on a phone?
A keyboard is recommended. Reversing a bus into a bay needs fine steering, and the game expects WASD or the arrow keys.
