Candy Sort is a colour-matching puzzle with a simple premise and a stubborn difficulty curve. Each tube holds a stack of candies, and your job is to rearrange them until every tube contains a single colour. You can only move the top candy from a tube, and it has to land in an empty tube or on top of a candy of the same colour. Those two rules are the whole game — and they are enough to keep you thinking several moves ahead.
How to play
Pick up the top candy from one tube and drop it onto another. The move is accepted when the destination is empty or when the candy you are carrying matches the colour already there. If neither is true, the candy stays where it was. A timer runs while you think, so the early boards are a warm-up and the later ones test how quickly you can see the sequence of moves that lies ahead.
On a desktop, hover to select a candy and click to place it. On a phone or tablet, drag with a finger — the candy follows your thumb and drops where you release it. The board keeps the same layout in portrait, so the hit areas stay comfortable on a small screen.
If a board goes wrong, the game offers an optional reward ad that adds an extra tube or pauses the clock. Those are the only interruptions, and neither is required to finish a level.
Think in reverse
The trick to tube-sorting puzzles is to work backwards from the finished board. A tube that is already a single colour is a home for that colour: treat it as the target and move stray candies onto it whenever a move is free. Empty tubes are not storage — they are the temporary space that makes every other move possible, so try to keep at least one of them clear.
The second habit worth building is scanning for the candy that blocks the most. A single mismatched candy near the bottom of a full tube can lock an entire column, and clearing it early usually unlocks two or three easy moves at once. Before your first move, count the colours and check that each one has somewhere to go; the colour with no free tube is the one that ends runs.
Who it is for
Candy Sort suits short breaks. A board takes a couple of minutes, nothing needs to be installed, and you can settle in for a longer session when the layouts start demanding real planning.
How to get a high score
