GORILGO FPS is an arena shooter built on one very good idea: at any moment, you can stop being a person with a gun and start being a gorilla. Everything else in the game is designed around that decision.
How to play
Movement is WASD with Space to jump, the mouse aims and fires, and F transforms you. In human form you play a conventional shooter — pick your weapon, keep your distance, aim properly. In gorilla form the rules invert: you need to be close, and you need to be quick about it.
The skill in the game is the transition. Transform too early and you cross open ground as the slow, obvious target; transform too late and you are reloading while someone melees you. Reading the moment when distance stops being your friend is what turns a decent player into a dangerous one, and because both forms are viable, an opponent cannot simply build a loadout to counter you.
The game is marketed as an online shooter, and the combat loop is built for the chaos that implies: multiple opponents, constant motion, and fights that change shape in a second.
Fighting with two bodies
- Transform as a surprise, not a panic button. The value of the gorilla is the speed at which the fight changes.
- Reload behind cover. Human form is useless empty, and gorilla form is not a substitute for a plan.
- Close the gap on your terms. If you are walking toward someone, you are telegraphing.
- Never stand still. In a fast arena, movement is armour.

How to get a high score
- Transform when they close the distance, not when you run out of ammo — the timing is what makes it a surprise.
- Relaod behind cover, not in the open. A gorilla form is a poor consolation for an empty magazine.
- Use the transformation as an escape as well as an attack: melee range reaches where bullets cannot.
- Keep moving between targets. Standing still in an arena is how you become everyone else’s easy kill.
